MANAS TARANG 2023 – MVGR 25th ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS

MVGR College of Engineering (A) observed 25th annual day celebrations, in the name of MANAS TARANG, on May 1st from 9 AM to 9 PM.

On the occasion of stepping in moments of Dr. PVG Raju CENTENARY YEAR (99th JAYANTHI), MVGR-NSS Unit in collaboration with Rotary Club Vizianagaram & Vizianagaram Rotary Parvati Devi Anchalia Voluntary Blood Center organized BLOOD DONATION CAMP. The students and faculty of the college enthusiastically participated in the blood donation camp and made it successful by donating 60 units of blood. To encourage, understand, and motivate the students from the great works & contributions and follow the foot prints of Dr. PVG Raju, student body of MVGR exhibited photo gallery in the name of CENTER OF PRIDE.

For the morning cultural event, Mrs. G Sahiti, Popular Telugu Movies Playback Singer, MVGR Alumni graced the occasion. She felt very happy about the invitation from her college for this 25th annual day celebrations and shared her college day memories with all the student fraternity. She congratulated and gave mementoes, certificates to the winners of cultural competitions held on the occasion of annual day. MVGR conducted TALENT HUNT in the morning session and students participated and showcased their singing, dancing, drama skit talents. To reflect INDIA’s CULTURE and TRADITIONAL DANCES, the cultural club of MVGR performed CULTURAL FLASH MOB in the evening.

For the evening celebrations, Sri. P Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Chairman, MANSAS, Prof. K Venkata Subbaiah, Vice Chancellor, JNTU-GV as chief guest, Mr. SVN Suresh Babu, MVGR Alumni Guest, graced the occasion.

Mr. K Sai Kiran, Student President of MVGR briefed with the last year MVGR student achievements and awards. Sri. P Ashok Gajapathi Raju stated that education has a purpose and is to be fulfilled and it helps in character building of students. He remembered his father, Dr. PVG Raju Garu, words of self-thinking, and worship will help us to do things right. He told that one must be true to yourself, and then you will be succeeding in terms of humanity. Prof. K Venkata Subbaiah highlighted the importance and incorporation of NEP 2020 in our curriculums and praised MANSAS Trust for providing educational facilities to North Coastal Andhra. Mr. SVN Suresh Babu addressed the students and asked them to figure out what is important, what you love, reflect your mistakes, learn and move forward for better career and success in life. Chief Guest presented the academic excellence awards to the students and congratulated them for the future career.

Dr. KVL Raju, Principal, Vice Principals, various deans, heads of departments, staff and students were participated in the event.
