A two day Intra-College Technical Fest, Summil (getting together)2K18,has been organized in the departments of Computer Science and Information Technology at MVGR College of Engineering,Vizianagaram.The Chief guest of the event Dr. Krishna Kishore Dhara,CTO of Techsophy,has inaugurated the event at 10:00am.Dr.Dhara has a proven track record of innovating and patenting.His recent work focuses on developing novel collaboration services based on data mining& predictive data analytics.Around 1400 students across the departments actively participated in following technical events:Code King,Mind Power,Creative hub,and non-technical events:Minute to Win,Mad ad’s,String Hunt.On this occasion,Prof.Y.M.C.Sekhar opined that interdisciplinary events set a platform for students to showcase their talents beyond the limitations of academics and update their knowledge on contemporary trends and developments in respective domains.

Prof.D.J.J.Rama Chandra Raju,(VicePrincipal) expressed that technical fests always enlighten students to comprehend and meet the requirements of the Industry. Addressing young technocrats,the chief guest,Dr. Krishna Kishore Dhara,emphasized that coding is much needed skill for all the Information technology students and they need to pass through the wave of continuous learning and need to get updated about current technologies. He also mentioned about his present works and even told about the actual process of learning an engineering student must implement.He also pointed that attitude and hardwork play the biggest role in one’s successful career and advised students to acquire these qualities.
