Roles and Responsibilities / Functions of Academic Audit Committee

  1. Plan, monitor and control of the academic systems of all the Departments.
  2. Introduce innovations in Teaching, Learning and Evaluation practices.
  3. Introduce the additional infrastructural facilities required to strengthen the Departments for the changing needs curriculum revision or introduction of new disciplines.

Roles and Responsibilities / Functions of Admission Committee

  1. The matters relating to Admissions of the students at both UG & PG level.
  2. Provides all information related to admissions under Convener Quota and B-Category Quota to the students and parents.
  3. Screening the applications for admission to various courses based on their past academic performance.
  4. Ensure transparency in admission process.
  5. Revise and update the college prospectus.
  6. Send admission reports to University & State Council of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh State.
  7. Student Grievances will be resolved immediately based on our online Grievances system.

Roles and Responsibilities / Functions of Examination Committee

  1. Examination Committee will be an advisory body to the administrative committee / Management and will meet before the publication of results.
  2. The objective of the committee is to study gaps in teaching-learning process based on the performance of students and take corrective/ameliorative steps.
  3. They shall review the raw results (Both theory and labs), analyze and accordingly suggest for necessary action.
  4. Approve the recommendations to be implemented and suggest methodologies to be adopted in line with the objectives of the institution and regulations of the university if any, and advise the same to College administrative committee / Management.
  5. At each of the committee meetings, resolutions are to be passed and recorded. Accordingly, the results are to be finalized and published.

Roles and Responsibilities / Functions of Extra-Curricular Activities Committee

  1. To prepare the calendar for extra-curricular activities
  2. To invite experts in various fields to conduct technical sessions, demonstrations etc.
  3. To plan for organizing extra-curricular activities in the campus under various clubs
  4. To make arrangements for the students to participate in off-campus activities of international, national, state and local level competitions.
  5. To prepare a list of students and take prior approval from the Principal before nominating them to participate in various extra-curricular activities organized by the neighbouring institutions.
  6. To send a request to the Principal to award attendance for the participants in various activities.

Roles and Responsibilities / Functions of Grievance Redressal Committee

  1. To uphold the dignity of the College by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the College through promotion of cordial Student-Student relationship and Student-teacher relationship etc
  2. To provide responsive, accountable and easily accessible machinery for settlement of grievances and to take measures in the college undertakings to ensure expeditious settlement of grievances of Students in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.
  3. Encouraging the Students to express their grievances / problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
  4. Advising all staffs to be affectionate to the Students and not behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason
  5. To support, those students who have been deprived of the services offered by the College, for which he/she is entitled
  6. To make officials of the College responsive, accountable and courteous in dealing with the students
  7. To ensure effective solution to the student’s grievances with an impartial and fair approach.
  8. The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit. The Grievance cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment.
  9. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person, or in consultation with the class in-charge.
  10. In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/ suggestion boxes in the campus.
  11. The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students. The Grievance Cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.
  12. The Grievance Cell will assure that the grievance has been properly solved in a stipulated time limit
  13. The cell formally will review all cases and will prepare statistical reports about the number of cases received. The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and the number of pending cases, if any, which require direction and guidance from the higher authorities.

LiIBRARY

This committee shall take the overall responsibility of developing and implementing strategies for the effective maintenance of central & department libraries of the institution so that the students, staff and all other stake holders will get more access & benefit of all the services extended by library. Other particular terms and references for the committee will be as follows:

  1. To play an advisory and advocacy role regarding the library in its support of teaching, learning, research and other such academic activities in the institute
  2. To initiate in administering various processes such as identification of learning resources, evaluation of available resources on its use and procurement of identified resources.
  3. To facilitate in conduct of awareness and sensitization programs for students on the matters related to library resources available including e-content
  4. To obtain contacts and do correspondence with reputed book and e-content distributers through networking, based on the department wise requirements
  5. To analyze quotations submitted by the book/e-content suppliers and provide recommendations to authority for approval. And seek clarification from them where necessary
  6. To facilitate in administering procurement process so as to maintain uninterrupted supply of book/e-content materials to support the teaching, learning, research and all such academic activities in the institute as per it’s plan/schedule
  7. To ensure all the necessary procurement procedures are properly followed including documentation
  8. To provide feedback and recommendations to the authority with regard to all activities library from time to time
  9. To chalk out action plans for all round development of library and administering implementation of such plans
  10. Any other duty as is assigned by the authority or any other activity that compliments the said objectives

  1. To review the academic, administrative and other related activities
  2. To review the faculty development activities.
  3. To review the academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of Students
  4. To promote research and extension activities.
  5. To review and promote employability skills and placement activities.
  6. To plan for sustaining the quality of education, quality improvement and accreditation of the college.
  7. To visualize and formulate perspective plans for the development and growth of the Institution.
  8. To plan for resource mobilization through industry interaction, consultancy and extra-mural funding.
  9. To recommend schemes to promote participation of academic departments in community development activities in the region.
  10. To do such other duties as entrusted by GB

  1. To prevent sexual harassment and to promote the general well‐being of female students/employees of the Institute.
  2. To provide the healthy and safe environment in the Institute for the female students/employees
  3. To provide guidelines for the redressal of grievances related to sexual harassment of female students/employees of the institution.
  4. To resolve issues pertaining to girls or women sexual harassment.
