RAJA SAHEB DR. PVG RAJU BIRTH CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS at MANSAS FORT, VIZIANAGARM

RAJA SAHEB of Vizianagaram, Dr. PVG RAJU birth centenary celebrations conducted on a high note at Fort, Vizianagaram.

Sri. P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Chairman-MANSAS, his wife Smt. P. Suneela Gajapathi Raju, his daughters, Sri. Adhithi Vijaylakshmi, Smt. Vidyavathi Devi, all the relatives of Dr. PVG Raju residing all over India, former & retired correspondents of MANSAS, former & retired principals of MANSAS institutions, all the current principals and staff of all MANSAS institutions were present in these celebrations marking the birth centenary of Dr. PVG Raju.

Sri. P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Chairman-MANSAS, Sri. Ramesh Kumar Dhote, Russian Teacher and close friend of Dr. PVG Raju, Dr. AVD Sarma, Retired principal of MR JUNIOR COLLEGE, Smt. Gita Ramaswamy and Shri. Sasi Kumar, book authors, were attended as chief guest for this occasion.

KVL Raju briefed everyone about the various activities conducted in the name and life of Dr. PVG RAJU, from 1^st May 2023 to 30^th April 2024, in all MANSAS institutions like elocution, essay writing, debates, special talks, cricket, NSS activities like eye camps, blood camps, etc., at in and around various villages of Vizianagaram. These activities were conducted to reflect the life of Dr. PVG Raju as he supported and encouraged sports and extracurricular activities apart from education in all his educational institutions.

Speaking on the occasion, AVD Sarma shared his life enriched experiences with Dr. PVG Raju and told how it helped him to run the MR institute successfully. 

Sri. P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Chairman-MANSAS, and the son of Dr. PVG Raju, shared few incidents of his father’s life which reflects the greatness and uniqueness of him. He said that Dr. PVG Raju ideologies, interests in art, culture, science and technology, sports, socialist ideas and political accomplishments, etc., inspired many generations. Through his visionary decisions like establishing various educational institutions, many generations were able to achieve their dreams and made Vizianagaram, an educational city.

With all the collected writings about him, a book was written in the name of “THE LAST MAHARAJA OF VIZIANAGARAM” and released on this special occasion. Soon, it will be distributed to all the libraries of state and central with both English and Telugu versions and also make sure it will be available to all the common public soon. Ashok Gajapathi Raju garu honoured the book writers team includes Smt. Gita 

Ramaswamy, and Shri. Sasi Kumar, Book authors, Shri. Rajesh, Artist, and Shri Parameswara Rao, overall book compilation and congratulated them for their huge contributions.

He wished and blessed all the staff and management of MANSAS institutions to serve with the motto and vision of Dr. PVG Raju for the betterment of students and society.

Later, prizes were distributed by Smt. P. Suneela Gajapathi Raju along with her daughters to all the student winners for all the activities conducted year long as a part of Dr. PVG RAJU centenary celebrations.

Finally, Shri. P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju felicitated former principals of all MANSAS institutions and correspondents of MANSAS who served inline with the vision of his father and contributed to the success of these institutions.
