MVGR NSS CAMP AT DWARAPUDI VILLAGE AS A PART OF RAJA SAHEB DR. PVG RAJU CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS

As a part of the Raja Saheb of Vizianagaram, Dr. PVG RAJU centenary celebrations, MVGR NSS Unit conducting special NSS CAMP at Sri. P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju’s adopted village Dwarapudi, which was declared as the first Digital Transactions Enabled Model Village, from 20-11-2023 to 23-11-2023.

Dr. KVL Raju, Correspondent-MANSAS, Mr. P. Sita Ram Raju, Director-MVGR were attended as chief guests and Mr. B. Narsingh, Ex-District Library Chairman, Mrs. Y. Adilakshmi, Dwarapudi Village Sarpanch and Mr. V. Srinivasa Rao, Dwarapudi Village Vice-President were attended as guests for the inaugural function of the special NSS camp at Dwarapudi Village.

Dr. KVL Raju, Correspondent-MANSAS recalled the great works of Dr. PVG RAJU, who is a great Philanthropist, to the society, especially to the farmers where he participated in INAM LANDS SATYAGRAHA and even went to jail to support local farmers and supporting farmers by digging small canals for agriculture. He also told the great initiatives taken by PVG RAJU towards women empowerment, supporting and providing free education to all the needy people by constructing various institutions in Vizianagaram under MANSAS TRUST. 

P. Sita Rama Raju, Director-MVGR and other guests requested all villagers to participate in all the camps and programs being conducted by MVGR NSS UNIT.

During the 4-day special camp at Dwarapudi village, starting from today, MVGR NSS unit is going to organize plantation program in the entire village, medical camp & eye testing camp to all the villagers and veterinary camp too.

For this camp, Mr. S Mohan Kumar, Dean Students, MVGR, Mr. N Shanmukha Rao, MVGR NSS PO, NSS volunteers, staff, students and village people were present.
