MVGR FYFP UNIT CELEBRATED NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY WITH ZP HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

To commemorate in honor of Sir C.V. Raman for his legacy, who discovered Raman Effect, and on the occasion of National Science Day, MVGR College of Engineering (A) FYFP UNIT (From the Youth-For the People) organised a Science Fair, as part of “Project VIKAS”, at ZP High School, Raghumanda (V), Melicherla High School and ZP High School, Sarika (V).

The IoT based developed hardware projects of MVGR engineering students like soil moisture detection, gas leakage detection, blind stick, smart parking, smart blind stick, smart attendance using RFID, moisture detection-2, electricity generation using waste and Bluetooth car, were showcased to the school students to inculcate the scientific fervor and motivate the school students towards scientific innovations. Also, FYFP volunteers and engineering students explained the importance of technology in daily life and created awareness on the various projects done by them.  They also created a lot of enthusiasm towards the science projects and hardware projects which will be very helpful in the day-to-day life. Further, prizes were distributed for the best projects displayed by the school students in the science fair conducted by MVGR FYFP unit.

For this event, Mr. S. Mohan Kumar, Dean of Students, Mr. K.S.N. Raju, FYFP Convener, Mr. N. Shanmukha Rao, NSS Program Officer, Govt. School H.M.s, School Teachers, FYFP Volunteers and school children were present.
