Sri. P. S. Sitharama Raju, Director
P. S. Sitharama Raju has over two and a half decades of experience in both academia and industry. He is an effective administrator, a committed professional, and a versatile resource. He was an Associate Director at D. E. Shaw India Software Private Limited (www.deshawindia.com) before joining MVGR in May 2007.
At MVGR, he has held various positions, including HOD of IT, HOD of CSE, Dean of Strategic Planning, and Dean of Quality Assurance & Finance. He actively participated in framing the Academic Regulations for Autonomy and designing the curriculum for the Departments of CSE and IT. He gained expertise in defining processes for Outcome-Based Accreditation based on the Washington Accord and conducted several training sessions/programs for teaching staff. He has excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization. P. S. Sitharama Raju was appointed as the first Director of MVGR in June 2023.
Prof. Y.M.C.Sekhar, Principal
Dr. Y. M. C. Sekhar joined MVGR in 1998 and has been serving the institution in various capacities ever since. He has over two and a half decades of experience at MVGR. He earned his Ph.D. from Andhra University with a specialization in alternate fuels. He is a passionate teacher, committed professional, effective administrator, and esteemed academician.
At MVGR, he has held various positions, including Vice-Principal, Chief Controller Examinations, Head of the Department, etc. He has been actively involved in coordinating various activities, including conduct of exams, planning, delivery, evaluation, and establishing regulations for autonomy. His excellent administrative and managerial abilities enable all departments to adhere to their schedules as outlined in the academic calendar. He also liaises with the university and oversees admissions.
