Message from the Head of the Department

The Division of Mathematics builds a strong foundation in logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, enabling students to apply mathematical concepts effectively in engineering, research, and real-world applications.
HUMAN RESOURCES & RECOGNITIONS:- The Division of Mathematics has 13 faculty members.
- Assistant Professors: 05 Associate Professors: 05 Professors: 03
- Every member holds a doctoral degree.
- One member is a recipient of the young scientist award from the AP State Goverment.
- One member holds the status of Associate fellowship
- Three members qualified SET/SLET.
- One-member qualified NET.
- Some of the faculty members are editorial board members for international journals.
- Some faculty members are guiding research scholars. More than 220 research articles were published by the faculty in Peer Reviewed International Journals of Repute.
- A couple of faculty members authored and co-authored research monographs and text books for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Some faculty members serve as reviewers for reputed journals such as the American Mathematical Society, Zentralblatt MATH, International Journal of Applied and Computational Mathematics (Springer), Mathematical Sciences (Springer), Journal of Applied Mathematics, American Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing (Springer), Journal of Mathematical Modeling, TWMS Journal of Applied and Engineering Mathematics, International Journal of Nonlinear Analysis and Applications, along with several other indexed journals.
- Some faculty have delivered invited talks at the APAS Science Congress and at various national and international conferences.
- The Division also organized two national-level workshops on application-oriented mathematics, both sponsored by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
- One faculty member created ICT-based learning resources and runs a YouTube channel with over 2468 subscribers.
- Members are actively participating in various online workshops/FDP conducted by NPTEL, AICTE-ATAL, UGC, etc. for consistent academic and development.

- All courses were designed based on the inputs given by the respective departments, which would cater to the requirements of the engineering students and pave paths for higher learning.
