MVGR Associate NCC Officer Honoured with Prestigious Best ANO Award at CATC-V Camp

MVGR College of Engineering takes immense pride in announcing that its Associate NCC Officer (ANO), Lt. N. Mehar Vasu, has been conferred the prestigious "Best ANO Award" during the Combined Annual Training Camp – V (CATC-V) held at GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, from 8th June to 17th June 2026.

The camp was organized by the 2(A) CTR NCC Unit (Army Wing), Visakhapatnam, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Karthik U, Commanding Officer of the Unit. The award ceremony was graced by senior NCC officials, including Lieutenant Colonel G. Badraiah, Administrative Officer of the Unit, along with PI Staff, Associate NCC Officers, and NCC cadets from various institutions.

Lt. N. Mehar Vasu received this distinguished recognition for his exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment to NCC training, efficient camp administration, and dedicated efforts toward the holistic development of cadets. His exemplary performance throughout the training camp earned him the honour among the participating NCC officers and staff members.

In recognition of this remarkable achievement, MVGR College of Engineering felicitated Lt. N. Mehar Vasu upon his return. The college management, Principal, faculty members, staff, and NCC cadets congratulated him for bringing laurels to the institution and for exemplifying the core values of the National Cadet Corps—discipline, leadership, and selfless service.
