MVGR Celebrates 78th NCC Raising Day with Pride and Patriotism

The 78th NCC Raising Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at MVGR College of Engineering on 22 November 2025. The event brought together cadets and dignitaries to honor the rich legacy and discipline of the National Cadet Corps.
The celebrations commenced with inspiring and motivational speeches by the respected Principal, Dr. Y. M. C. Sekhar, Dr. R. Ramesh, and Mrs. K. Sobha Rani, who highlighted the importance of NCC values—unity, discipline, and nation-building. Their words encouraged the cadets to uphold the highest standards of integrity and service.
The ceremony was conducted under the guidance and inspection of CTOs Mr. N. Mehar Vasu (SD) and Mrs. L. Sowmya (SW), whose commitment and leadership continue to strengthen the NCC unit at MVGR.
Around 60 enthusiastic NCC cadets were in attendance, showcasing discipline and dedication throughout the programme. Senior cadets J. Rohit (SUO), SD and Poojitha (Sergeant), SW addressed the gathering, sharing their enriching experiences from various NCC camps. Their insights motivated younger cadets to participate actively and take pride in their NCC journey.
The event concluded on a patriotic note with the NCC song, sung collectively by all cadets, filling the atmosphere with a sense of honour, unity, and pride.
The 78th NCC Raising Day celebration at MVGR stood as a testament to the institution’s commitment to nurturing future leaders with discipline, courage, and service to the nation.
