Strategic MoU Between MVGRCE and Pennant Technologies

MVGR College of Engineering (Autonomous), Vizianagaram, has entered into a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pennant Technologies Private Limited, Hyderabad, on 4th December 2025, marking yet another milestone in its commitment to providing industry-aligned education and skill development to its students.

The MoU was formally signed by Sri. P. S. Sitharama Raju, Director, MVGR College of Engineering (Autonomous), and Mr. Ravi Varma Datla, CHRO & Head of Compliance, Pennant Technologies. Senior academic and administrative representatives from both institutions were present during the signing ceremony.

Purpose of the MoU

This partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by offering real-world exposure, advanced training, and employability-oriented skill development for students of MVGRCE. The collaboration focuses on preparing students as industry-ready professionals through structured training, hands-on learning, and mentorship from industry experts.

 

Key Objectives of the Collaboration

The MoU outlines the following major goals:

  • Facilitation of internships, training programs, and live project opportunities
  • Exposure to real-world industry practices and tools
  1. Skill Development & Technical Training
  • Regular workshops, bootcamps, seminars, and hands-on sessions led by Pennant experts
  • Two expert-led sessions per month for one year
  • Focus on emerging technologies, tools, and industry workflows
  1. Faculty Development
  • Train-the-Trainer initiatives where Pennant trains selected MVGR faculty at their Hyderabad office
  • Trained faculty will further mentor students at MVGR
  1. Industry–Academia Interaction
  • Guest lectures, panel discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Collaboration for research, innovative projects, and problem-solving initiatives
  1. Social Responsibility & Sustainability
  • Joint activities aligned with corporate social responsibility and community development

 

Highlights of the Agreement

  • Pennant will pre-select final-year students for a specialized training program aligned with their hiring expectations.
  • Pre-selected students will undergo intensive training as part of their pre-final/final semester.
  • Based on performance, they may also be offered internship opportunities with Pennant.
  • Both parties will collaboratively develop course content and materials.
  • The MoU will remain valid for three years, promoting long-term and meaningful collaboration.
  • MVGRCE will provide necessary infrastructure and support for the smooth execution of all training programs.
